Hello all golfers!
My name is Sean Herron, I am 38 years old and I'm from County Derry in Northern Ireland. I am passionate about new and exciting services that cater for golfers of all ages and ability, teaching the basic fundamentals of the golf swing in a fun and simple way.
Previously, I coached in a variety of places as far afield as Switzerland and Australia. Since returning to the UK I have worked in golf clubs in Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire. Only last year I became one of only 25 golf coaches in England who can officially call themselves a Golfing Machine Authorised Instructor. This is recognised throughout the world as the most thorough and accurate teaching system, based on Homer Kelley's "The Golfing Machine". Applying basic geometry and simple physics to the golf swing it cuts through the clutter of misinformation about the golf stroke.
Since arriving at Chichester Golf Club and talking to some of the members I have been shocked to find that so many of them are afraid to go for lessons because they don't want to make big swing changes which may affect their scoring. I can improve your golf without changing your swing at all, so come along and see what we can achieve together. I start with a free golf consultation and swing analysis to anyone who comes to see me which will help me tailor-make a programme that suits you and your goals, rather than mine. I will use the consultation to discover what you really want from your golf.
You will notice my philosophy is based purely on one essential requirement - putting you first! All your wants and needs will be addressed before we even utter the word "golf lesson". The extra care and attention you will get from me doesn't stop there. Any golfer on any of my improvement programmes will be able to take advantage of a list of other services. This includes a FREE monthly swing check, entry to any seminars or clinics for half price, a free monthly improvement newsletter, access to training aids, golf DVDs and books when available, a buddy coach system, and last but not least, a lesson reminder phone call and a post check-up lesson phone call.
You will find me on the driving range most of the time, otherwise up at the club house talking to members and visitors and finding out what services the golfers at Chichester Golf Club want from their coach. Tony has been a PGA Professional since 1985. Having played tournament golf and coached golfers from beginners to European Tour Players. During his career he has achieved many successes.
For 12 years he was coach to the Leicestershire County Junior Squad, whose ages ranged from 10 to 18 years. Tony has always been interested in increasing the effectiveness of golf coaching, believing that traditional methods do not deliver long term improvements for the majority of golfers.
In 2002 Tony became qualified as an NLP Sports Practitioner to help golfers understand exactly how to play their best game more often. In 2004 Tony added to this qualification and became a NLP Master Practitioner.
Having studied the science of peak performance now for several years he has developed a coaching technique that is guaranteed to produce results. Tony is now a qualified Hypnotherapist and uses all his skills to enable his clients to achieve amazing results.
