The Cathedral Course

The Cathedral Course has one of the toughest front nines around. The 5th hole at 608 yards is affectionately known by the members as “the mother”, but we know your golf is up to the challenge. The Cathedral is an attractive parkland course with plenty of water and is a good challenge for the golfer.

Booking a Tee Time

All bookings must be booked and paid for in advance via our online booking site before arriving at the golf club. Please click here to book or simply download the ‘EliteLive’ App from the App Store or Google Play Store.

If you are organising a special event or for a big group, then please take a look at our group bookings page for more information about our packages including food and drink.


Full payment will be taken at the time of booking, no refunds will be issued.

You must report to the shop before beginning your round.

We are a cashless site


Members can cancel a tee time online up to 2 hours before the scheduled time.

Visitors must call the club directly to move the booking to any date within the next four weeks and the relevant payment will be transferred to the new booking, no refund will be issued. 


Please always play Ready Golf and take ownership of your own pace of play.

Your expected round time will be 4 hours.

We will marshal the golf course as a when time allows throughout each day, please listen to the marshals, they’re there to help. Should you have any pace of play problems please phone in to the pro shop on 01243 978850.


No handicap required.


Golf clubs can be hired if required.


Buggies are subject to course conditions and may sometimes not be allowed on the courses, to avoid disappointment please check our web site for the latest on buggy availability.


In the event of an emergency, be it medical or anything else, please contact the ‘Emergency Contact’ number on the scorecard – 01243 978850. This is the quickest way to ensure immediate action.

There is a defibrillator situated in the clubhouse just inside the entrance doors.


The main front gate of the site will be locked at 9.30pm daily. Any cars left in the car park to be collected the next morning at 6am

Here, players are free to wear attire that reflects their personal style and comfort, whether it’s casual wear, sports gear, or traditional golf attire. By eliminating dress codes, we aim to make golf a more relaxed and enjoyable experience for all.
