One of the key reasons Chichester Golf Club stands out is combining high quality Golf with affordable prices and superb service.
We are also the only Golf Club in the country with such an extensive range of activities for both Golfers, their families and even their non-golfing friends. All of which are discounted (or free) for members. These include: Par 3, Putting Greens, a practise bunker, Indoor Adventure Golf, Outdoor Adventure Golf, Escape Rooms, Virtual Driving range improvement facilities and games and Foot Golf.

If you play during the week, at the weekend, after work, aim to get a handicap or improve it, play a little or a lot, then we have a membership that is right for you.
We have three principal types of membership to choose from at Chichester Golf Club; Unlimited 7 Day Plus membership, 5 Day membership (Mon-Fri) and Off Peak ‘afternoon’ membership. There is also a Flexi Plus membership which means you only pay for the golf you play, using credits.
If you choose our headline 7 Day Plus membership, you will have the additional benefit of being able to play at the group’s sister clubs; Hill Barn Golf Club, Worthing and Horton Golf Park, Epsom giving you the choice of four 18-hole courses to play on, seven days a week.
As a member, you can get involved in one of our three, thriving Club sections, called Men, Ladies and Vets. Each section organise their own regular roll ups and competitions.
Before buying any of our memberships we highly recommend playing on either of our two 18-hole golf courses at Chichester. Please contact us to book a tee time.
Types of membership
What is a 7-day plus membership?
Our 7-day plus package is the ultimate form of membership at Chichester Golf Club. If you play in the week and on the weekend, love golf, strive to improve your handicap, and play once a week or more, this is the right membership for you.
- Unlimited play on any course at Chichester Golf Club, seven days a week. In addition, as a 7 Day Plus member you can also play at our sister courses at Hill Barn Golf Club, Worthing and Horton Golf Park, Epsom giving you the choice of four 18-hole courses to play on all year round.
- 15 Day Booking rights – all other categories have 14 days!
- Participate in various club competitions
- Ability to obtain and hold an active handicap
- 10% Members discount in the shop and Clubhouse
- Access to members-only changing rooms
- Discounted buggy hire
- Discounted member guest green fees
- Discounts available on range credit top ups
- Annual fee £1600 or £146 per month
- £250 joining fee applicable with this membership
What is a 5-day membership?
5-day membership offers unlimited golf Monday through to Friday any course at Chichester Golf Club. If you are a regular golfer and only play during the week, this is the ideal membership for you.
- Unlimited play on any course, Monday-Friday at Chichester Golf Club – excluding public and bank holidays
- 14 Day Booking rights
- Participate in various club competitions
- Ability to obtain and hold an active handicap
- 10% Members discount in the shop and Clubhouse
- Access to members-only changing rooms
- Discounted buggy hire
- Discounted member guest green fees
- Discounts available on range credit top ups
- Annual fee £1420 £or £129 per month
- £250 joining fee applicable with this membership
what is a off peak membership?
Off Peak memberships offers unlimited golf in the afternoon on any course at Chichester Golf Club. This is perfect for golfers that want all the benefits of membership but prefer to play at quieter times or have other commitments in the morning.
- Unlimited play on any course at Chichester Golf Club, seven days a week, after 1pm in the summer and after 12 pm in the winter.
- Unlimited play on the Par 3 course, seven days a week, at any time.
- 14 Day Booking rights
- Participate in various club competitions
- Ability to obtain and hold an active handicap
- 10% Members discount in the shop and Clubhouse
- Access to members-only changing rooms
- Discounted buggy hire
- Discounted member guest green fees

- Annual fee £995 or £90 per month
- £175 joining fee applicable with this membership
what is a flexi plus membership?
Flexi Plus Membership, starts from £395 and offers a whole new approach to being a member. It is straightforward, and as the name suggests, completely flexible. It is an ideal first membership, or the perfect solution for seasoned golfers that do not play regularly enough to justify the cost of a full membership.
- Access to play the 18-hole courses at Chichester Golf Club, seven days a week using credits (FAQ’s & credit info)
- Unlimited play on the Par 3 course, seven days a week without using any additional credits
- 14 Day Booking rights
- Participate in various club competitions
- Ability to obtain and hold an active handicap
- 10% Members discount in the shop and Clubhouse
- Access to members-only changing rooms
- Discounted buggy hire
- Discounted member guest green fees
- Discounts available on range credit top ups
- Annual fee £270 plus £125 for 50 credits (or choose more credits for better value). There is not an option to pay monthly.
- There is no joining fee applicable with this membership
- Please note that any unused credits will be carried over at your annual renewal, as long as you pay the annual fee and purchase a minimum of 50 credits.
What is an Intermediate Plus membership?
An Intermediate Plus membership offers 25-29 year old golfers a more affordable way to play, 7 days a week.
- Unlimited play on any course at Chichester Golf Club, seven days a week. In addition, as an Intermediate Plus member you can also play at our sister courses at Hill Barn Golf Club, Worthing and Horton Golf Park, Epsom giving you the choice of four 18-hole courses to play on all year round.
- 14 Day Booking rights
- Participate in various club competitions
- Ability to obtain and hold an active handicap
- 10% Members discount in the shop and Clubhouse
- Access to members-only changing rooms
- Discounted buggy hire
- Discounted member guest green fees
- Discounts available on range credit top ups
- Annual fee £950 or £85 per month
- £175 joining fee is applicable with this membership
What is a young Adult Membership?
A Young Adult membership is for anyone aged 18-24 years old looking to play golf all year round without the hefty price tag. We recognise that it can sometimes be a struggle to afford to play golf if you are a student or saving for the future, so this membership is ideal to encourage young adults to get into the game.
Only credit top ups will be carried over at renewal – any credits from the 800 included with the membership will expire.

- Ability to obtain and hold an active handicap

- Annual fee £580 or spread the cost into 4 consecutive payments of £145 a month
- £125 joining fee is applicable with this membership
What is a junior Membership?
A Junior membership is a great incentive for teenagers and children under 18 years old to play golf, or even try the sport for the first time. This membership also includes outdoor adventure golf and footgolf, so it is an ideal way to keep our juniors playing outside and having fun all year round for less than 60p per day!
- Unlimited play on any course at Chichester Golf Club, seven days a week.
- 14 Day Booking rights
- Participate in various club competitions
- Ability to obtain and hold an active handicap
- 10% Members discount in the shop and Clubhouse
- Access to members-only changing rooms
- Discounts available on range credit top ups
- Annual fee £195. There is not an option to pay monthly.
- No joining fee.
Becoming a Member is quick and easy
If you choose to pay in one lump sum at the start of your membership year you will be committing to the full year and you will be unable to cancel your membership and no refunds will be given under any circumstances including injury, illness or death.
If you choose to pay monthly by direct debit, you will have the right to cancel your membership at the end of any month. Please note that if you cancel and decide to join again at a later date, you will be charged another joining fee.
When you join, you will need to pay the joining fee in full and the first monthly payment. Thereafter, payments will be taken automatically by direct debit from your chosen bank account on the 4th day of each month (or next working day).
You will also need to complete a Direct Debit Instruction (DDI) Form with your bank account details. We will submit your account details to your bank in order to set up the instruction so that we can collect payments against it in the future.
You can only cancel is you pay monthly, by direct debit.
Chichester Golf Club reserves the right to cancel your membership, at any time, without notice.
If you are unable to play due to injury or ill health then please let us know straight away as we may be able to put your membership on hold for the time that you are unable to play. We will also require evidence in writing such as a Doctor’s letter or a hospital letter. Please note that time cannot be backdated and no refunds can be given for the time you have not been able to play.
All annual & monthly membership fees include affiliation fees paid to England Golf and the Sussex County Golf Union (men) or Sussex Ladies County Golf Association (ladies).
The County Card membership is included in your affiliation fees and there is no additional cost for a card.
The Sussex County Card Scheme provides discounts on green fees for numerous clubs nationally and has been in operation for many years. It is fully inclusive for all members, irrespective of gender or age, and is available to download via the County Card App called ‘igCounty’.
Personal Liability Insurance cover up to £10m is provided by Marsh Sport for all members of England Golf as an additional benefit of the affiliation fees paid. For more information please visit www.englandgolf.marshsport.co.uk or call 0345 841 0056.
You can start playing as a member as soon as you have made the first payment. Your membership is valid for 12 months (as long as your account is up to date) and will be due for renewal again on the 1st day of the month closest to the date you joined. For example; if you join on 17th March 2024 your membership will be due for renewal on 1st April 2025. We will contact you via email one month prior to your renewal date with details of the rates for the coming year.
