What is an escape room?
An escape room is a real-life adventure game. You and your companions solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategies to escape a locked room.
Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as haunted houses, prison cells, and deserted cabins. They are a great team and family activity.
At Chichester Escape Rooms we have 3 different, air-conditioned rooms to choose from ranging from tricky to very difficult!

Room 1:
The curse of old maid milly
60 minutes locked in the room where Milly mysteriously died after living the life of a recluse for many years. Something is stopping Milly’s soul resting in peace – search the room, find the clues and unravel the mystery that will ultimately set you free – all the while wondering whether Milly is still in the room with you.

Room 2:
Operation Sealion
If you are ready for a challenge then choose to play our most difficult escape game.
It’s 1940, Hitler is plotting the invasion of Great Britain under the code name Operation Sealion. The French resistance claim to have gained valuable intel and have the information stored in an inconspicuous café in Paris. As British Intelligence you must rendezvous in the store room and work quickly to recover the hidden documents. The enemy are on to you! You have 60 minutes to foil Hitler’s plans and escape.

Room 3:
Cabin in the woods
Ben Young was investigating a number of reported supernatural sightings when he went missing. Tracking his last known whereabouts, you find yourself locked in a cabin in the woods. But all is not as it seems. Ben Young has left you an encrypted message that might just explain what has happened to him. You have 60 minutes to search the cabin, follow the clues and crack the code to solve the mystery, ultimately leading to your escape.
Locked in the cabin, so easy to scare,
A snap of a twig, just a rabbit or hare,
The sounds of the woods, a distant howl,
Two eyes looking in, only an old tawny owl,
Tensions rising as we fumbled with locks,
Clattering dustbins, simply a fox,
Huddled together, riddled with fear,
Something passes outside, simply a deer,
Starting to calm, as we awaited our host,
Alas too soon, as we were met by the ghost…

Opening Hours
We are normally open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with some additional dates added during school holidays and special events.
How to book
Bookings must be made online up to 16 weeks in advance.
If you have a group of 10 or more people we can arrange to open Monday-Thursday & subject to availability (standard charge of £26 per person).
If you wish to book the same day then please call 01243 536666 for last minute availability.
CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Once a booking has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled and no refunds will be given under any circumstances. However, we can re-schedule a game for another time if we receive at least 48 hours notice. NB: A full refund can be issued if we have to close the escape rooms due to circumstances out of our control such as government advice, fire & severe weather conditions.
About the games
When arriving at Chichester Escape Rooms, please check in at the main till located in the shop where you should arrive 15 minutes before your slot to allow time for a full brief of your game. If you arrive late, then you might not be able to have a full hour to escape and no refunds will be given.
Please note that any children under 16 years must be accompanied by a full paying adult over 18.
Due to the difficult nature of the puzzles, the escape rooms are not suitable for children under 12 years old.
Should I wear anything specific?
Please wear something light and comfortable including flat shoes. Don’t forget your reading glasses so you don’t miss any clues!

Plan your escape at the Jungle Java café!
Arrange to meet your team mates in our fun and vibrant onsite Jungle Java Café to plan your escape! Serving beer, wine and spirits including pizza (eat in or take-away), Panini’s, Toasted Sandwiches and warm sausage rolls, ice cream and much more.
There is plenty of seating inside & outside on our large terrace overlooking the adventure golf course.
The cafe has a dedicated function room which is ideal for team events and including hen & stag parties.
Customers are not permitted to consume their own food or drink onsite. Open seven days a week 9am-5pm with last orders for food at 4pm – Please note that you cannot book a table in advance.

Escape game rooms are themed rooms in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategy in order to exit the room.
The door to each escape room automatically locks when closed, however there is an emergency escape button located next to the door inside the room so you are free to get out at anytime or in case of emergency.

You have 60 minutes to escape the room but the aim of the game is to escape before your time runs out!
The cost to play will vary depending on numbers:
2 people – £64 (£32.00 per person) – Curse of Old Maid Milly only
3 people – £93 (£31.00 per person
4 people – £108 (£27.00 per person)
5 people – £125 (£25.00 per person)
6 people – £132 (£22.00 per person)
There is plenty of free parking onsite, including disabled parking.
The number of people that can play will vary depending on which Escape Game you choose to play. The min. no that can play is 2 people (Curse of Old Maid Milly only) and the max. no is 6 people.
